Two exciting upcoming conferences

Dear Colleagues

We wish you all a Happy New Year and a good start into 2014. May the New Year be a very successful one for all of you. This is also a good time to plan for two important conferences of our society, the Gordon Research Conference (GRC) for Industrial Ecology in Lucca, Italy, 1 to 6 June 2014 and the joint Socio-Economic Metabolism and Asia-Pacific Conference in Melbourne, Australia, 17 to 19 November 2014.

The GRC is open for registration at www.grc.org/programs.aspx?year=2014&program=industeco and a preliminary list of topics and speakers has been provided by the chair.

The Melbourne Conference now invites abstracts and registrations at http://wp.csiro.au/isie2014/. The deadline for abstracts is 15 February 2014.

Both meetings will be very important and joyful opportunities for all of us to catch up and share progress in our research field.
